Dress the Part—Dance with Intention!

​Dress Code
  1. Hair needs to be secured properly and must be out of the face and off the neck for all classes (excluding Hip Hop)
  2. No watches, bracelets, or necklaces for all classes—no earrings/rings for Acro (safety precaution)

​Hair that is not secure and improper dance attire will be a distraction and will hinder corrections from the instructor. Dress appropriately! Please make sure your dancer does not dance with personal items in their pockets. Phones must be silenced and put away before and for the duration of class. 

Acro
  • Leotard or biketard- Attached skirt leotards are not permitted. If you choose to wear tights, they need to be footless. 
  • Tight shorts or tight tank top 
  • Low ponytail or low bun
  • No jewelry including earrings
  • No shoes or socks in AcroDance 

Ballet
  • Leotard
  • Tights (pink or black)
  • Short ballet skirt, dance shorts, and/or ballet sweater may be worn over leotard and tights
  • Ballet Basics, Ballet 1, and Ballet 2 may wear leotards with attached skirts
  • Ballet bun is preferred for hair, ponytail is the next best option
  • Ballet shoes

Hip Hop
Our only class that allows loose fitting clothing:
  • T-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, joggers
  • Jeans are not permitted
  • Hip Hop shoes

Jazz and Lyrical
Same as Ballet or the following:
  • Tight fitting tank top or bra top/dance top
  • Tight fitting dance shorts, capri, jazz, or yoga pants
  • Ballet bun or ponytail
  • Jazz shoes
  • Lyrical (half soles)

Tap​
Same as Ballet, Jazz, or Lyrical
  • No long pants or jeans!
  • Tap shoes
